How To Save Space in Your Suitcase

The holiday season is in full swing, and it's time we packed for our vacation. However, everybody knows the struggle. Thinking 'of course, I'll fit all of this in,' and eventually sitting on your case to try and zip it together, which is ALWAYS impossible. If only you knew these handy tips for saving space in your suitcase.

How to Pack for Your Vacation

To begin with, never fold clothes. Rolling items is a much neater way to ensure they don't crease as much in your case, and you can find a piece of clothing easier. By rolling t-shirts inside other t-shirts and covering the ends with socks, you will save space in your case.

If your suitcase has pockets or nooks and crannies, utilize them in the best way possible by working out what shape they are and finding the best items to store inside them.

Wear them instead. If you're taking sweaters or other bulky items that will take up too much luggage room, wear them as you travel if possible. This is one of the easiest ways to save precious space in your suitcase - but don't layer up too much, as you may get a bit hot!

Instead of packing walking shoes, heels for a night out, and several pairs of flip flops, why not just take one or two pair of jeweled sandals? With Grandco's stylish sandal designs, you can feel classy and comfortable from the beach to the restaurant without having to change your footwear at all. This saves tons of room in your luggage.

By tackling your laundry on holiday, you can afford to pack less and wear the same clothes a second time. This can be especially handy if you are going for a more extended trip of two weeks or more. Otherwise, you'd end up taking your entire wardrobe! Not good news for your suitcase.
